APPLYING FOR RECEPTION YEAR 

APPLICATIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2024 CAN BE MADE BETWEEN 1 SEPTEMBER 2024 AND 15 JANUARY 2024, IF YOU WISH TO MAKE AN APPLICATION AFTER THIS DATE PLEASE CONTACT KIRKLEES SCHOOL ADMISSIONS.  PARENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR OFFER ON 16TH APRIL 2024

You may register your child for a place at school when your child turns 3. Registration for a Reception Year place is done online through the Parent Portal on the Kirklees Council Website.  You can apply online by clicking here and view the appeals timetable by clicking here.

OPEN EVENING EVENT

If your child is due to start school in September 2025, please join us in the Autumn term for our open evening. Date tbc (the date will be posted here and on  Facebook and X shortly)

APPLYING FOR AN IN YEAR ADMISSION

You may apply for a place at our school at any time during the year.  You can collect an In-Year Common Admissions (ICAF) form from the school office or download here, complete it and return it to us.  The headteacher will notify you by letter if a place can or cannot be offered for your child(ren). 

If you have any questions about registration or the outcome of a request please contact Mrs McLoughlin. You have the right of appeal against the decision not to allocate your son/daughter a place at our school. If you wish to appeal for a place, please contact our office.

MOVING UP TO MIDDLE SCHOOL 

TO APPLY FOR A PLACE AT MIDDLE SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER 2024  YOU MUST APPLY BY 15 JANUARY 2024, IF YOU WISH TO MAKE AN APPLICATION AFTER THIS DATE PLEASE CONTACT KIRKLEES SCHOOL ADMISSIONS. PARENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR OFFER ON 16TH APRIL 2024.

During the Autumn Term, Year 5 children will receive a guidance booklet from Kirklees School Admissions. You can apply for Middle School when your child is in Year 5 and between 1st September and 15th January.  To apply online click here.
